EXECUTIVE ASSISTANT ACCOUNTING & FINANCE
Provides administrative, clerical and project support to the Chief Financial Officer by performing the duties outlined below.
• Assist the Chief Financial Officer in the management of his schedule.
• Arranges and coordinates travel and reservations, meetings and department activities for all members of the senior management team as required.
• Handle confidential and non-routine information.
• Answers and screens Chief Financial Officer’s telephone calls, and arranges conference calls.
• Type and design general correspondence, memos, charts, tables, graphs, business plans, etc.
• Sort and distribute mail. Open mail for the Chief Financial Officer and determine level of priority.
• Work independently and within a team on special, nonrecurring and ongoing projects, at the request of the Chief Financial Officer.
• Work on ad-hoc projects as assigned
• Special projects upon request
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIESThis job has no supervisory responsibilities.
Must have high level of interpersonal skills to handle sensitive and confidential situations. Position continually requires demonstrated poise, tact and diplomacy. Must be able to interact and communicate with individuals at all levels of the organization.
Must have knowledge of a variety of computer software applications in word processing, spreadsheets, database and presentation software (MSWord, Excel, PowerPoint).
Work requires continual attention to detail in composing, typing and proofing materials, establishing priorities and meeting deadlines. Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment with demonstrated ability to handle multiple tasks and demands.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE
Associate degree required. Bachelor degree in Accounting with some related experience and/or training preferred; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS
No certificates required.
Ability to read and comprehend detailed instructions, correspondence, and memos. Ability to professionally execute excellent verbal and written communications. Ability to effectively present information in one-on- one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
