HOME SOLUTIONS ADVOCATE (BILINGUAL)

The bilingual Home Solutions Advocate is responsible for providing customer service assistance to both English and Spanish speaking customers, place outbound and receive inbound calls to new and existing customers offering and explaining home repairs and various company services, answer questions, handle concerns, and provide relative information to coordinate appointments with select vendors.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • contact company customers by phone
  • provide exemplary, positive, anticipatory customer service
  • gain a basic understanding of home repairs and communicate these effectively to clients
  • persuade clients to proceed with home repairs to keep policies active and improve health of residence
  • effectively describe various products and services
  • respond to questions
  • identify and overcome objections
  • obtain customer information
  • follow up to ensure that repairs are progressing
  • record details of telephonic email interactions

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

This job has no supervisory responsibilities.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Strong organizational and task management skills. Strong relationship management and proven experience delivering high level of internal and external customer service. Computer proficiency with strong skills in Microsoft Office applications. EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:

  • 440 License with 1+ years of insurance experience preferred
  • Must obtain 440 insurance license in timely manner
  • high school diploma or equivalent
  • proficient in relevant computer applications and call center systems
  • good typing skills
  • knowledge of sales principles and methods
  • sales experience a plus

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS

Must be proficient with the following: addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.

REASONING ABILITY

Must be able to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Must also be able to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS

A Florida 4-40 Insurance Customer Service Representative License is required and may be achieved once employed.
