HOME SOLUTIONS TECHNICAL ADVISOR
Work at direction of department Vice President in a multifunctional capacity; including technical training, customer service and liaison to project vendors.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assist in development of technical training tools for customer service team
- Provide technical training presentations to new or existing team members
- Handle high level or escalated sales/service calls with new and existing customers
- Review and cross-check support
- Liaison to project vendors
- Track vendor performance and repair cost associated with each job assignment
- Identify and explain technical information to co-workers, insureds, and vendors
This job has no supervisory responsibilities.
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Strong organizational and task management skills. Strong relationship management and proven experience delivering high level if internal and external customer service. Computer proficiency with strong skills in Microsoft Office applications. EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
- 440 License required- Must obtain license in a timely manner
- 1+ years general contracting, insurance inspections, or claims adjusting background a plus
- high school diploma or equivalent
- Microsoft Excel experience preferred
Ability to read and comprehend detailed instructions, correspondence, and memos. Ability to professionally execute written communications. Ability to effectively present information in one-on- one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS
4-40 Customer Service Representative License (or) 2-20 Property & Casualty License.
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
