INTERN

The Frontline Insurance Internship Program provides participants with firsthand experience in an inventive and fun environment. As a growing organization, Frontline Insurance is looking for fast-paced, friendly, and responsible candidates to meet and collaborate their findings with management and executives in a modern setting. It is crucial to possess a positive attitude, technological proficiency, and be able to identify challenges and suggest resolutions. The interns are assigned to various departments based on current operational needs, e.g., Risk Management, Accounting, Business Development, Claims, IT, Underwriting, etc.

Essential Duties

  • Vary by Department
  • Custom Research
  • Data Input and Database Management
  • Attend Company functions and networking events
  • Receive mentoring from Senior Executives that share their knowledge, skills and experiences
  • Participate in enrichment and team building exercises with personal and professional development in mind

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

This job has no supervisory responsibilities.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Strong organizational and task management skills
  • Strong relationship management
  • Proven experience delivering high level internal/external customer service
  • Computer proficiency with strong skills in Microsoft Office applications
  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • High school degree or equivalent; must be enrolled in an accredited university/college program to receive credit.

LANGUAGE SKILLS

Able to read and comprehend detailed instructions, correspondence, and memos. Professionally execute excellent verbal and written communications. Present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS

Handle common mathematical applications in all units of measure, using whole numbers, fractions, and decimals, compute rate, ratio, and percent, as well as draw and interpret bar graphs.

REASONING ABILITY

Apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, verbal, or diagram form. Resolve problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
