Frontline Insurance Encourages Students to Be Prepared

Our maxim at Frontline is to “Live for Today, Plan for Whensday” and that is just what the students at Calvary Christian Academy learned on February 2nd as Frontline representatives visited the school to take part in a hurricane preparedness activity. The fifth graders at the school were challenged with putting together their own hurricane preparation kits, outlining what they would need in case of an emergency and the quantity needed for their own families. The activity was a lesson in life for the children, who live in Ormond Beach, Florida, an area often hit by hurricanes.

Step Up Event

The activity was a joint effort by Frontline Insurance and Step Up For Students, a nonprofit that administers the Florida tax credit scholarship program. Frontline Insurance donated $760,000 to the scholarship program for the 2014-2015 school year. Frontline representatives got to meet some of the scholarship recipients and Dan Johnson, Project Manager, was able to speak to the children and explain our involvement in the program. “Frontline is incredibly proud to be a donor to Step Up For Students. With this donation we are able to open the doors to the future leaders of our community so that they may pursue an education better suited to their individual needs.” Step Up For Students Chief Financial Officer, Ann Mackey, was also in attendance. She believes that it is the support, like that from Frontline, that grants Step Up For Students the ability to continue their important work.

This event outlines our continued effort to support families within the communities that we insure and our full fledged support of the scholarship program.
